Opportunities to engage in your child's learning
Building Learning Power
It is helpful if you are able to talk through and engage in the suggested activities when the BLP leaflets are sent out termly in EYFS and Key Stage 1.
Each term represents an area of BLP; Autumn-Resilience, Spring- Resourcefulness and Summer-Reflectiveness. Reciprocity is embedded throughout the year.

End of term assemblies
At the end of each term, parents have the opportunity to come into school for a special year group assembly. Here the children will share their learning through songs, writing, art and dance.
It's a great way to see your child's learning in action.
Reading cafes
Parents are regularly invited to their child's Reading Cafe. Here they complete activities based on a book, learning about the characters, plot and settings. Parents are given opportunities to ask questions and information is shared about the different ways they can support their child at home.
Welcome Wednesday
Every week parents are invited in for ‘Welcome Wednesday’. This is an opportunity to share a book or other learning with your child. It's a great opportunity to see your child in the school environment and share in their learning.
