What Does our Governing Body Do?

Governors are responsible for overseeing the management side of our school: strategy, policy, budgeting and staffing. They enable the school to run as effectively as possible, working alongside the headteacher and supporting staff to provide an excellent education for our children

  • Interview and select staff
  • Decide on how the school budget should be spent

  • Oversee the maintenance of the school building

Our School's Governing body is made of:

  • Parents (elected by parents)
  • Local Council Representatives
  • Members of the Local Community
  • Members of the local church
