The Governing Body gives all parents an opportunity to become involved in school life.   All governors are elected volunteers who collectively help run the school.  Parent Governors have a child at the school and are elected by the parents.

Governors have legal powers and responsibilities to:-

  • Make decisions about how the school is run
  • Monitor the quality of Teaching and Learning
  • Interview and select staff
  • Decide on how the school budget should be spent
  • Report information about the school to the parents
  • Oversee the maintenance of the school building

Our School Governors Governing body is made of:                              

  • Parents
  • Local Council Representatives
  • Members of the Local Community
  • Members of the local church
  • Staff at the school
